Per August Westberg

The third son whose name was PER AUGUST (LINEAGE II, 5.) of the second generation, was influenced to come to America after he had graduated from a technical college. He arrived in Chicago in 1882 and joined his cousins in the building industry.

Per's younger brothers John, Nils Frederik, William and Alfred came to the U.S. and adopted the name of Westberg. They entered the building industry in various trades. One? become a reed and pipe organ tuner.

In 1888, Per August returned to Sweden and brought his father (65) and his step mother (61) to Chicago
