Disputed Parentage

Although several online sources say the mother of this family is Rhoda Ann Faure (Ford), the Bonderant Family Association, which has done extensive research on this family says this:
"Jean Pierre married Ann Tanner and they had five children: Joseph, John, Ann, Frances, and Peter."

The one thing everyone seems to agree on is that her name was Ann. The plaque that the family erected in 1990 says "Jean Pierre Bonderant and his wife Ann. ... He married Ann... Their five children are John, Peter, Jospeh, Ann and Frances." No mention of a birth name for Ann.

PLEASE NOTE PARENTAGE: This Peter Bondurant was the son of Rhoda Ann Faure and Jeanne (John) Bondurant. Jeanne Bondurant was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Ann Chastain Bondurant, not Jeanne Pierre Bondurant and Ann Tanner Bondurant.

He married Elizabeth Darby in 1734, in Virginia, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 2 daughters.
