Obituary below from The Hartford Courant, October 11, 1955:
Peter Waiveris of 34 Barbour St., Wilson. died Monday at Veterans Hospital, Northampton, Mass. He was born in Wilson, son of John and Matilda Snitas [Snipas] Waiveris, Jan. 7, 1923. He lived in Wilson all his life. He is a veteran of World War II. and served in the Air Force as a technical sergeant. He was a member of the American Lithuanian Society of Hartford. Besides his parents, he leaves a brother, Charles F. Waiveris of Windsor, Funeral serv ices will be held at the F. W. Car mon Funeral Home, 6 Poquanock Ave., Windsor. Thursday at 8:15. with a solemn requiem mass in St. Gertrude's Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. today and Wednesday.
