Charles F. Waiveris, Sr., 84, of Windsor, died Monday, (November 6, 2000) at home. Born in South Windsor, he has lived in Windsor for the past 80 years. He was co-owner with his late wife of the Windsor Dry Cleaners for 29 years retiring in 1975. He was a communicant of St. Gabriel Church, Windsor, a member of Windsor Lodge # 2060 B.P.O.E., and St. Casmir's Lithuanian Society. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 61 years, Helen, in April; and his daughter, Elizabeth Igou. He leaves a son, Charles F. Waiveris, Jr. and his wife Rosellen of Goshen; two grandchildren, John and Katherine; and a good friend, Rev. Richard Garland of Ellington. Family and friends may gather Thursday, 9:15 a.m., at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at St. Gabriel Church, Windsor. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windsor. His family will receive friends Wednesday, 5-8 p.m., at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1004, Meriden, CT 06450.
