Cockayne says he had no children. Others disagree. He was born circa 1296. He married Blanche de Mortimer, daughter of Sir Roger de Mortimer, 1st Earl March, 8th Baron Mortimer and Joan de Geneville, before 10 June 1330.2 Piers de Grandison died on 10 August 1352.
