Phoebe, daughter of Nathaniel and Sarah (Merrick) Crossman, was born around 1712 (based on age at death), probably at Taunton, MA. She married John Cooke, son of Jacob and Lydia (Miller) Cooke, after December 19, 1730, date of intentions published at Kingston, MA. John died in 1745, and Phoebe married for the second time to Samuel Kent, as his second wife, at Kingston on December 8, 1748. Samuel died in 1786, and Phoebe remained a widow until her death on March 25, 1805.
