Philippe de Briene was the daughter of Guy de Bryan, 1st Lord Bryan.2 She married, firstly, Edward de Bohun, son of John de Bohun, 1st Lord Bohun and Isabel de Tregoz.2 She married, secondly, Sir John Chaundos, 3rd Lord Chaundos, son of Sir Thomas Chaundos, 2nd Lord Chaundos and Lucy (?).1 She died after 28 July 1368.2

Her married name became Chaundos.1 Her married name became de Bohun.2 She was also known as Philippe de Brian.2

Inquisitions Post Mortem for John Chaundos, knight, Writ. 20 December 1428. He died on 16 December [1428] without heir of his body. Giles Brugge, esquire, was kin and one of his next heirs as the son of Alice one of the daughters of Elizabeth sister of John Chaundos, and aged 30 and more. Margaret wife of Nicholas Mattesdon was kin and his other next heir as the other daughter of Elizabeth sister of John Chaundos, and aged 40 and more. Mentions Philippa his wife who had died before him.
