He was married to Phillipa Cocke on 1 Sep 1615 in Chesham, Buckingham, Eng.. Phillipa Cocke (1) was born on 14 Jan 1587 in Belindon, Chesham, Buckingham, Eng.. She died in 1648 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Daughter of William Cock(e) & Joan Belandon.

He was married to Rose Grinnell in 1650 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Rose Grinnell (1) was born in 1595 in Lexden, Essex, England. She died in 1673 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. This was Rose's 3rd marriage. Former surnames were Paine & French.
