Pierre Desire Bergeron

Pierre, born in November 1748, married Marie-Marguerite, called Marguerite, daughter of fellow French Creole Pierre Moreau, at Pointe Coupée in January 1771. Their son Pierre, fils was baptized at the Pointe Coupée church, age unrecorded, in August 1775, Jean-Baptiste was born in c1778, Jean-Pierre was baptized at the Pointe Coupée church, age 3 months, in May 1781, Hippolyte was born in December 1787, and Valery or Valerien in April 1792. They also two sons named Zenon. Their daughters married into the Guidroz, Guiau, Lebeau, Olinde, Pourciau, and Saizan families. Pierre, père died in Pointe Coupee Parish in April 1821; the priest who recorded his burial said that Pierre was 75 years old when he died, but he was "only" 72.
