About Pierre Boivin

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Boivin-30

Guillaume and his wife Guillemette Levert were parents of a large family established at Rouen, where they are found in the parish records from the year 1611 forward. They are likely to have married circa 1600 by the presumed ages of their older sons whose baptismal records have not been found. At Rouen they were first noted at Saint-Vivien parish, and later at Saint-Maclou.

Three of their sons François, Charles and Guillaume as well as a grandson Pierre (son of Pierre) spent several years working as carpenters in New France.[1] François -age 50 is listed on the 1666 census at Beaupré, with his nephew Pierre and his young wife.[2] On the 1667 census listed as 'Domestiques' are Charles Boivin -age 67 and Guillaume Boivin -age 57.[3] The 1667 census also lists at Beaupré 'Francois Boyvin' age 55 and his 'enfants' Pierre age 22 and Estiennette Fafard age 16.

Based on the 1667 census, Pierre would have been born in 1645, and his wife in 1651.
