About Pierre-Jacques Léger dit P'tit
GEDCOM Note
Jacques first settled on the Peticoudiac. He escaped the deportations and was in Caraquet from 1758-1761. He was then at Ft. Beausejour from 1761-1765. He finally settled in Memramcook, La Montain, in 1765. It was on his land that a chapel was built in Memramcook. Although the chapel burned in 1795 a cross still marks the location of this chapel.
