Pieter Christiaan de Jager passed away on 11 March 1891 at his residence on the farm ' Vermaaklikheid ' Onderduivenhoksrivier Ward, Riversdale District. He was aged 61 years, a farmer and married to Martha Hermina van der Vyver.

He left a will, the farm and stock.

At the time his Marriage, Pieter Martinus Christiaan de Jager was a Bachelor and a Farmer from ' Vermaaklikheid ' Onderduivenhoksrivier Ward, Riversdale.

His wife Martha Hermina van der Vyver was a Minor and from the Farm ' Kliphoogte ' Heidelberg District. She was married after Banns and with her Father, Martinus Johannes van der Vyver's permission.

They were Married at a private residence in Heidelberg by Ds P.B.Borcherds in the presence of the following witnesses :

At the time of his marriage, Pieter was a major, a bachelor and farmer from ' Vermaaklikheid ' Riversdale District. His wife, Martha Hermina van der Vyver was from the farm ' Kliphoogte ' Heidelberg District. They were married after Banns at a private residence in Heidelberg by Presidng Minister, Ds P,B. Borcherds VDM of the NG Kerk, Riversdale on 24 February 1856.
