Plaridel Abaya

He served as representative of the first district of Cavite from 1995 to 2004. A graduate of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA), he served as an officer in the Philippine Army and in the Philippine Constabulary. He retired from his military career in 1987. His son Jun Abaya served as Secretary of the Department of Transportation and Communication from 2012 to 2016.
