Funeral services for Mrs. Polly Deese, age, 83, who died Friday morning were held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock at Harpers Ferry. Services were conducted by Rev. L. W. Jacobs, F. W. Graham, and T. M. Swett.

She was survived by one son, Danny Deese, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Brooks of Route 3, Maxton, Mrs. Maggie Oxendine, Route 4, Lumberton, Mrs. Susie Deese of Route 4, Rowland; two brothers, Joe Dial and Peter Dial of Maxton, Route 3.
