Priscilla Ramsdell was born about 1640 in Concord, Middlesex, Massachusetts. She married John Adams 7 May 1662 in Concord (Her name in some records is Praseller Ramesden). She died 2 December 1707 or January 1718 in Concord.

Ancestor of actor Jon Cryer[1] (her name is noted as Priscilla Ramsden) b. 1646 in Concord; died bef 1691 in Concord. Notes
The placing of Priscilla as a daughter of John Ramsdell, although there is no proof, is supported by circumstantial evidence. John's son Isaac is probably located in Lynn in 1660 but certainly by 1667 (recorded as "Ramsden"). It is purported that in Essex Deeds, 5:295 Isaac's sisters are mentioned though unnamed. The only other Ramsdell in New England at this time was the well documented family of Joseph Ramsdell of Plymouth. None of this family is recorded in or near Concord.
Priscilla Ramsden, John's first wife, died prior to Feb 1690/91 when he married Priscilla Shore, the widow of Jonathan Shore. When James died in 1707 he was survived by his wife, Priscilla, and seven of their nine children. In the distribution of his estate, the widow Priscilla received her 1/3 part, James the eldest son 2 shares, John a single share, Elizabeth, Hannah, Dorcas & Abigail each a single share. Nathaniel is not mentioned so he may have died young and the eldest daughter Priscilla is mentioned as having already received sundry acres of land.
