His estate was settled May 22, 1696, divided among his widow, Prudence Rogers, and their 3 young children: Joseph, Sarah and Elizabeth.[5][6][7]

On October 25, 1700, Prudence Rogers remarried to Malchiel Atwood.[8] They had the following children together, all in Truro, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts Bay Province, New England:[9][10]
