About Pvt (CSA), Sterling A. Bobo
Sterling's army documents give his middle initial quite clearly as "A." Most other sources use the middle name Seborn or Seaborn. The name gets mangled even more on the tombstone - Seabom S. Bobo. In addition, the army records show him in Company C, 48th Mississippi Infantry, while the gravestone's inscription has him in Company G, 41st Mississippi Infantry. I am not at all certain that these all refer to the same person.
