About Pvt. Dallas Hogle (USA)
Dallas Hogle heard the call of his Country and set out to serve it during the Civil War. His Brother Gilbert Bruce Hogle was wounded twice in Battles before December of 1862 and was discharged. You can see his discharge papers and how he must have folded them up and stuck them in his pocket.
That fell one day into my great grand mothers hands his daughter, then to mine 3 generations later. Now on the web for everybody to share.
But his little Brother Dallas, gave all he had, his life in service to his country. They just released the profile to me today, Memorial Day 2013. Now, he's not forgotten in a way far off place he is tied again to his parents.
