David Morrow appears in Roster of South Carolina Patriots in the Revolution, page 704 (text is online via Ancestry.com):
b. 1762, Maryland. He enlisted, while residing in Craven County, sometime during January 1779 under Capt. Philip Walker and Col. Winn... During 1780 he enlisted under Capt. John McClure and Col. Lacey. After McClure was killed at Hanging Rock, he served under Capt. Hugh Knox. He was in the battles at ... Hanging Rock and Fishing Creek...Later he served under Gen. Wayne in Georgia. (Moved to Ala. and Miss.)
David Morrow 1762-1843 married Margaret Kelso / Kelsey. David was born 1762 near Baltimore, MD and died 1843 in LaFayette Co Mississippi. During the Revolutionary War he served with the SC Militia and later lived in the Fishing Creek area just north of present day Chester, SC.
