John and his second wife had several children. Carrie, who died as an infant. Betty, married Benton Strader, James, married Anna Boruff, Sarah, married Burl Shores, George, married first Ella Shores and second Laura Ann (Taylor) Harvey, Ella, married Eli Childers, Charles, married Sina Taylor, Grant, married first Mattie Ransdell, second Ethel (Greeson) Black, Stella, married Lemuel Childers.
