In ענף עץ אבות it says that his wife was the daughter of Rabbi Yosef Teomim from Ostravtza and not him

Aryeh was A.B.D. of Brody from 1815, on the death of Meir Kristianpoller, author of Gur Arey Yehuda, published in Zolkiew, 1827. He is mentioned in the Responsa of R' Haim Cohen Chelek.

He also wrote Ayelet Ahavim, Zolkiew in 1822, and Ya'elat Chein, Zolkiew 1822. Aryeh became A.B.D. Lyzhansk when only fifteen years old and the time of the Noam Elimelech, the Chassidic leader of the community. They quarreled constantly.

After the death of his first wife, he remarried Michele who was divorced from her first husband, R Meshullam Igra of Tymenitsa.
