Lazar Spira was born in Bukowsko to David and Chaya. He was a rabbi and married to Nechama. Prior to WWII he lived in Sanok, Poland. During the war he was in Dobromil, Poland. Lazar perished in Zaslaw, Poland at the age of 42.
