R' Gershon Zeev Wolf Banet, A.B.D. Ungvar

According to Dr Neil Rosenstein in his book "The Unbroken Chain" (1990) at p.874: R. Mordechai Banet had a son R. Moses Banet. His son was R. Gershon Wolf Banet ABD Ungvar who married the daughter of R.Solomon Ganzfried.

In the Third Edition, he states that R' Gershon Zeev Wolf Banet, A.B.D. Ungvar, who married the daughter of R' Solomon Ganzfried (1804-1886), A.B.D. Ungvar (and author of Kitzur Shulchan Aruch) is the son of R' Moses Banet, Dayan and Moreh Zedek Malacky, Slovakia and Regina (Rachel).

Was a student of the Maharam Shick and Ksav sofer (although not mentioned in the books about the student of both the greats).
