R' Luzer Lejzer Salomon Pacanowski, of Piotrków

G10 R. Eleazar (Lejzer [son of] Salomon) Pacanowski of Piotrkow, known to be wealthy, declined to succeed his father as ABD, and thus became known as the Patchanover Rav, born about 1751, and died in Piotrkow on July 7, 1841, married 1) Feiga, daughter of Zvi Hirsch Rabinowitz, ABD Rzeszow, author of a commentary on the Talmudic Tractate Baba Metzia entitled Sefer Gaon Tzvi, published in Warsaw in 1810 and 1883, son of R. Judah, and 2) Gute (Guta/Gitel/Gile/Gila) Rajce (Reitze) Jachimowiczow, a relative of his ("from both parents side" and a descendant of the Beit Shmuel). Eleazar helped to finance publication of his son's book, Brit Avraham, published in Dyhenfurth in 1819. He had issue from both wives. The wife of Zvi Hirsch was Beila, daughter of Abraham, ABD Dobromil.
