הרה"ג ר' דוד יחזקאל הלוי יונגרייז הי"ד, אב"ד בעיר זאגראב שביגוסלביה, נולד בשנת תרס"ג בעיר פילעק שבצ'כיה. אביו, הרה"ג ר' שמואל בנימין הלוי זצ"ל היה אב"ד פילעק. אבי אביו ר' משה יונגרייז זצ"ל היה אב"ד ק"ק קאשוי. אשתו של ר' דוד יחזקאל, הרבנית הצדקת מרת פעריל היתה ביתו של הרה"ג ר' ישראל מאיר גליק אב"ד בעיר קעזמארק היה בנו של הרה"ג יצחק גליק זצ"ל אב"ד פעטער בהונגריה ובעמח"ס "חינוך בית יצחק". אמה הייתה הרבנית רחל בת הרה"ג ר' אברהם גרינבורג זצ"ל הרב מקעזמארק.
