About Rabbi Moshe Biderman, Admor of Lelov

The Lelover dynasty grew in Jerusalem, when Rabbi Dovid's son, Rabbi Moshe Biderman (1776-1851) moved there. Rabbi Moshe Biderman of Lelov was the son-in-law of Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchok, the Holy Jew of Peshischa. Today there are several Lelover Rebbes, in Bnei Brak, Jerusalem, and New York.


Reb Moshe Biderman of Lelov was considered one of the greatest rebbes in Poland. He went to Yerushalayim and lived there for 72 days. He is buried near Zecharyah Hanavi on Har Hazeisim.

בנו של רבי דוד, רבי משה בידרמן, היה חתנו של היהודי הקדוש מפשיסחה והוא מילא את מקום אביו באדמ"ורות. לעת זקנותו, בערב ראש חודש חשוון ה'תרי"א, עלה לארץ ישראל יחד עם בניו ונכדיו, התיישב בירושלים ובה נפטר לאחר כחודשיים וחצי, בי"ג בטבת ה'תרי"א.
