Daughter of Hyrum Bryant and Sarah Evans. Born in Clark Kentucky. Rachel Married Adam Hatton on March 10, 1836 in Estill, Kentucky. They had a son Samuel Hatton. Adam died in 1839. Rachel then married Miles Terry in Kentucky. They had 12 children together. Around 1865 Miles horse jumped a fence and he fell and broke his shoulder. He made it to Fort Smith, Arkansas but died of pneumonia. After Miles died, Rachel married William Wilder. In 1880 they were living in Polo, Carroll, Arkansas. In 1900 census Rachel is living with her grandson Samuel Terry for a while in Linn, Christian, Missouri, William is with his son in Carroll, Arkansas. Rachel went to stay with her son Isaac Terry in Warren, Weber, Utah where she died and was buried.
Obituary from Deseret News Feb 25, 1901: Mrs. Rachel Wilder, aged 90 years, a native of Kentucky, died Saturday afternoon at the home of her son, Isaac Terry of Warren, Weber county. The deceased has only been living in Utah about two weeks, having come here with her son on his return from the East. The funeral services were held today at the family residence at Warren at 1 o'clock. Bishop Stewart presiding. Interment took place in the Warren cemetery.
