About Ramón B. Felipe

Ramon B. Felipe received his law degree from the UP in 1919 and worked as the translator and proof reader at the Clerk of Court of the Supreme Court. Returning to his home town, Ramon was elected Representative of Camarines Sur from 1922 to 1928 and the Governor of the same province from 1928 to 1934. The Ramon B. Felipe National High School in Pamplona, Camarines Sur was named in his memory.

Gov. Ramon Felipe was born on February 3, 1894, the son of Carmen Justiniani and Antero Felipe. He had five sons and four daughters with Rosario Felin Hidalgo between 1920 and 1941. Ramon B. Felipe received his law degree from the UP in 1919 and worked as the translator and proof reader at the Clerk of Court of the Supreme Court. Returning to his home town, Ramon was elected Representative of Camarines Sur from 1922 to 1928 and the Governor of the same province from 1928 to 1934. The Ramon B. Felipe National High School in Pamplona, Camarines Sur was named in his memory. He died on January 26, 1970, in Manila, Philippines, at the age of 75.
