Reb Leibish - The Pshevorsker Rebbe - אדמו"ר מפשעווארסק שליט"א

Rabbi Leibish Leiser was born in the town of Peshborsk (then in Galicia, today in Poland) to Rabbi Yaakov Leizer, later the second Rebbe of Peshawarsk, and to Alta Bina, daughter of Rabbi Moshe Yitzhak Gvirzman, later the first Rebbe of Peshewarsk. During the Holocaust he stayed in Siberia. After the war he stayed with his parents in southern Poland. There he was a student of Rabbi Akiva Gross of Glewitz. His family then moved to Antwerp. In the 1970s, he began attending the Belz Yeshiva in Jerusalem. As his father and grandfather, he was a follower of Rabbi Aharon of Belz.

In the year 5718, he married Malka Mindel Hanna, daughter of Rabbi Alter Yaakov Yitzchak Wagshal, Rebbe of Lenzhut, and lived in Williamsburg, where he associated himself with Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Halberstam of Klausenburg, Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar, he would travel to Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Twerski In New Square for Simchat Torah every year.

In the year 5735 he was widowed, and remarried to his wife's niece, the daughter of Rabbi Yehoshua Mordechai Elazar Wagschal, Rebbe of Lenzhut. In the 1990s, he returned to live with his father in Antwerp, and after the death of his father, Cheshvan Hashanah (November 1998), was appointed as the Admor in his place.

He had 5 children from his first wife. including;

R' Naftali Elimelech Dovid, rav of the chassidus in London.

R' Alter Yehoshua Heshel, rav of the chassidus in Williamsburg.

(son-in-law) R' Yosef Naftali Wagschal.

From his second wife he had 11 children.

Family

Besides their daughter Yocheved, they had three children. Don't know names. Remarried to Shlomtze Wagschal (his first wife's niece) and had Eight childeren.
