Possibly (probably?) the Berlin cantor who in 1712 participated in the foundation stone laying for a second synagogue, "amidst a ceremonial address from the cantor, Hirschel Benjamin Frankel" . Naftali Hirsch may be "Hirschel", Benjamin would identify his father, the Berlin rabbi, and Mirels and Frankel are interchangeable as surnames. The quote is from page 132,, "The Making of Western Jewry, 1600-1819" by the British historian Lionel Kochan.
