Wife of Joseph Rader m. 19 Sep 1830. Daughter of Benjamin & Rebecca Ann Martin LeMasters.

"In Memoriam. Mrs. Rebecca Rader, who died April 14th, 1890, was born July 4th, 1796, and was close to 94 years of age. Her father, Benjamin Lemasters moved to Nicholas county in 1789 or 90 and bought land in Bucks Garden where he reared a family of ten children --all daughters--the last surviving one being Rebecca. All the girls married in this and adjoining counties, and left behind a numerous progeny, highly respected.

Mrs. Rader was born on the same farm purchased by her father a hundred years ago, and was buried in the family graveyard close to the cradle-spot of her infancy. She lived her long life out on the same place and was never beyond the limits of the County.

She was, in truth, a remarkable woman. The world was centered in her home and all the pure pleasures of life she happily enjoyed within the family circle. She studied the lesson of moral duty in the inspired word and submitted her daily life to its delightful influence. Bucks Garden was to her an earthly paradise where she tried by work and example to prepare those committed to her care for the Father's Kingdom. Away from the annoyances of the world she passed through life in peace, and when death summoned her to leave, she committed her soul to the Savior and left her body to mingle with the dust of her kindred. Around her couch stood children and grandchildren and when the spirit passed away fond hands closed the eyes. She died, loved and respected, in her grand, o'd age, by all who knew her. Green be her memory."
