When REBECCA JONES was born on March 4, 1782, in Virginia, her father, JACOB, was 50 and her mother, DIANAH, was 47. She married WILLIAM W. POWERS on December 18, 1802, in Monongalia County, West Virginia. They had eight children in 20 years. She died on June 9, 1863, in Henry County, Indiana, having lived a long life of 81 years, and was buried there. Children:

     *This burial ground was set-aside in a deed dated 17 Dec 1876. Joshua H. Powers, and his wife, Martha H. Powers, deeded to John S. Powers, Samuel J. Dragoo and Isaac V. Rees, trustees as of 6 Apr 1876, of the burial ground. On the 14th day of June, 1907, in pursuance of an act by the General Assembly, approved 4 Mar 1905, Samuel J. Dragoo, John V. Patterson and George Holbert of Delaware County, IN, trustees of the Powers burial ground, conveyed unto the Prairie Township trustee, Henry county, IN the Powers burial ground. 

    This burial ground is located about one mile south of the Delaware county line at the intersection of Henry county roads 900 north and the Old Muncie pike A lot of the people buried here lived in Delaware county IN

1860 census she is living with son John S. Powers and family. William died in 1852.
