Samuel Belcher was born circa 1639 in Ipswich, Essex co., MA[50] and died in Ipswich, Essex co., MA on 10 March 1713/14; he was 74[50]. Samuel attended Harvard College and graduated in the class of 1659. He first married Mary COBBETT and second married Mary/Mercy WIGGLESWORTH, daughter of The Reverend Michael WIGGLESWORTH & Mary REYNER. Mercy died on 14 November 1728.
