About Rev William Franklin Paxton
Rev Paxton was a beloved follower of the United Methodist Church and served as pastor in the Upper Iowa precinct and held the rank of D.D.S. He was survived by his beloved wife Nancy K. Dinehart Paxton and children. He retired to California after falling ill. He died in his home.In his last days, he said " It is glorious to preach the gospel, and I had hoped to live a few years longer to work for Jesus." In answer to the question"How does it look beyond?" he replied, " Bright, bright and glorious." At another time he shouted: "Glory, glory, helielujah!" To his wife he said: "Oh! I wish you could see what I do, Heaven is opened, I see the throne of God, and there is a place for me."* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: May 27 2021, 17:33:46 UTC
