Married Sarah Mapleton, daughter of David Mapleton M.D., of Bath and had 7 children:
Charles Henry (1809-1810); Gervase Fountaine (1813-1815); Edward John Eyre (5 Aug 1815 - 3 Nov 1901); Mary Ann (1817-1888); Frances Jane (1820 - 1876, married Joshua Mashill, surgeon, of Pudsey, Yorks); Caroline Elizabeth (1821 - 1863); Loisa Honor (1822- ).
Vicar of Hornsea and Long Riston, Yorkshire, when he died.
