Richard Melvin Barrett

I was a farmer in the Caldwell area raising wheat and cattle. I married Patricia Small Thomas in 1959. I was School Board President, President of the Caldwell COOP, Elder at Caldwell Presbyterian Church, Board member of Caldwell State Bank, and President of the Caldwell Historical Society during the Centennial Celebration of the Cherokee Strip Outlet Run. I liked to play pitch and bridge. I built the house that we lived at 504 South Osage.
