About Richard Bradley, Sr.

Died between 1815 and 1820.

At the time of Mr. Bradley's death, his home was in Rutherford County. Later, McDowell County was formed and took in Mr. Bradley's home in Montford's Cove. Some stories claim that Mr. Bradley's home was the first brick home in Rutherford County. Mr. Bradley passed away in this house. The house was later torn down and the bricks used to build another house across the road which is in great disrepair, but still standing as of 3/2013.
