Richard, Asa and their sister Susannah Nighswanger are in Pike County in the 1830 US Census. Richard served as an election judge in Pike County before moving to Adams County. The move to Adams County was made with the arrivial of Jacob and his sons to Adams County. Richard was again an election judge in Adams County in 1839.
