Richard Morgan [Convict "Alexander" 1788]

Richard MORGAN was born c1762 Bristol, England

Richard married Margaret BIGGS in Bristol and they had the following children

• Mary 1770
• William Henry 1775

Margaret died in 1784

Richard was convicted of assault and theft and sentenced to 7 years transportation. He arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Alexander".

Richard married Elizabeth LOCK on 30/3/1788 at Sydney Cove

Richard was sent to Norfolk Island on 9 January 1790 on "Supply"

Richard had a relationship/married Catherine CLARK and they had the following children

• Catherine 1792
• William 1794
• Richard 1796
• Mary 1799
• Margaret 1801
• Sophia 1801
• George 1804
• James 1804

Richard and family moved from Norfolk Island to Tasmania arriving on "King Goerge" on 21/9/1806

Richard died 26/9/1837 Tasmania
