Lady Sarah married an army officer, Hon. George Napier, on 27 August 1781 and had eight children:
- *Richard Napier (1787 – 13 January 1868); married Anna Louisa Stewart, daughter of Sir J. Stewart, in 1817.
Anne Stewart was the daughter of Sir James Stewart, 7th Bt. and Mary Susanna Whaley.1,2 She married, secondly, Richard Napier.3 She married, firstly, William Conolly Staples, son of Rt. Hon. John Staples and Harriet Conolly, in July 1797.3 She died on 30 March 1867.1
Her married name became Napier.3 From July 1797, her married name became Staples.1
