Rinse woont tijdens de oorlog samen met zijn vrouw en hun vijf kinderen in Hillegersberg. Rinse is koopman van beroep en raakt tijdens de oorlog betrokken bij het verzet in Rotterdam.

Hij wordt daar districtsleider van het door Westra opgerichte, ook uit Hillegersberg afkomstig, Nationaal Comité.

Het latere Nationale Steunfonds dat zich bezig houdt met de financiering van het verzet en financiële steun aan gezinnen waarvan de kostwinner voor het verzet is gaan werken.

Nadat Westra door de SD in Amsterdam is opgepakt wordt Rinse de leider van het NSF.

Op 14 juni 1944 wordt Rinse opgepakt en naar Vught gebracht. Rinse wordt op 30 augustus 1944 door de Duitsers gefusilleerd nabij Kamp Vught.

In Rotterdam is een straat naar hem genoemd.

Rinse lives during the war along with his wife and their five children in Hillegersberg. Rinse is merchant and gets involved during the war with the resistance in Rotterdam.

He becomes the leader of the district established by Westra, also originate from Hillegersberg, National Committee.

The later National Support Fund that deals with financing the opposition and financial support to families whose breadwinner for works with the resistance.

After Westra by the SD in Amsterdam was arrested Rinse is the leader of the NSF.

On June 14, 1944 Rinse is arrested and taken to Vught. Rinse being executed by the Germans on August 30, 1944 near Camp Vught .
