Robert Calderwood

In the 1871 Census Robert, Jane, James 4 years and Robert 1 year are living together. Robert is employed as a woollen carpet weaver. Interestingly Robert is 24 and his wife is 26 years in this census. Robert Calderwood died aged two later in 1871.

In the 1881 Census three of Robert and Jane's children are living with their grandparents and an aunt and uncle.

Both Robert predeceased his wife with both dying in 1909. Robert was a railway porter living in a railway cottage in main Street Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire at the time of his death. A son in law whose name is too difficult to read was in attendance.
