About Robert Edington
It is said that he came to Greene co. with his father-in-law and other family members to ready land and homes etc. for their families and returned to Coshocton co. Oh. to get his family but before they could start back to Greene co. In. he contracted fever and died there
He served in war of 1812 Co. Commanded by Capt William Reynolds about Jun 10, 1812 Capt. Joesph F. Kams in Army commanded by Major Gen. Hull. In the Reg. Commanded Col. Lewis Cass. Volunteered Zanesville, Oh. Apr. 8, 1812 for 12 months. Received no discharge.
