Note: Within a few years after his marriage in 1756, he moved from Lancaster Co, PA to Lancaster District, SC (about 1766 as stated by son, James Gaston 1761). When he purchased land on Little Lunches Creek in 1768, it was shown as, Robert Gaston, "cooper", formerly of Lancaster Co., PA.
