Robert Lee Graham, Sr

Robert Lee Graham, Sr, age 89, of Cleveland entered into his Heavenly Home on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at The Laurels of Salisbury, NC. Robert was born on Feb. 25, 1926 a son of the late Walter and Lelia Mae Graham.

He was a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII.

He was educated in the Rowan County Schools & was employed by Burlington Indus. for 35 years and Man Bus and Truck until his retirement. He was a lifelong farmer & loved being on his farm with his faithful dog, Storm.

Robert was a lifelong member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and for years was a member of the Cleveland Lions Club and a volunteer with the Cleveland Fire Dept.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceeded in death by his brothers Marvin and wife Ezzie, William and wife, Ola Mae and Thomas and wife Faye; sisters Agnes and husband Bob McDaniel, Irene and husband Nelson Kluttz and Betty Shoemaker; son-in-law Roger D. Davis.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 71 years, Inez (Parker) Graham, Daughter Dianne; son Robert Lee Graham, Jr; grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.

Service: 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 9, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church officiated by Rev. Mary Louise Sitton with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.
