BIOGRAPHY
Robert II Malet, Seigneur de Graville was the son of Robert I Malet, seigneur de Graville, and Alix or Hélène d'Alençon. He is recorded as qualifying as a knight banneret in the lists of those holding fiefs in the reign of Philippe II August, king of France. He is also recorded as present at Germain-en-Laye three weeks after Pentecost in 1236, for a campaign against Hugues X 'le Brun' de Lusignan, comte de La Marche et d'Angoulême, and at Chinon in 1242 for another campaign against Hugues X's revolt.
With his wife Agnès de Tancarville, Robert had a son Jean who would continue the line, and a daughter Agnès who married Thibaut de Prulay, seigneur de Longueau.
