The Testament Dative and Inventory of the deceased Robert Sempill in Linwood was given up by his son, probably his eldest son, also Robert Sempill, who was recognised as his father's only executor dative on 17 November 1665. Confirmation was granted to the younger Robert Sempill on 7 March 1666.
