8. ROBERT ISHAM, the first we observe to have de left out before his name. Contemporary with Robert, perhaps his brother, was John Isham, prior of Wymondham in Norfolk: he was admitted July 18, 1416, and governed that house four years. This Robert died March 13, 1424, leaving a son named

9. Robert, of the age of 22 years: He married Elizabeth, daughter and co-heir of ---Aston of Knoston, Alias Nuston, near Irchester, in Northamptonshire. He died about the 14th of Edward IV. leaving 1. William, his eldest son, of whom hereafter; 2. Robert, who was prebendary of Lincoln from 1467 to 1501-3; 3. Richard, who died before the 16th of May 1491, as appears from the probate of his will; and by Alice his wife, he left issue Richard, who died Nov. 24, 1493; Robert, heir to his brother, and a daughter named Dorothy: 4. John, who was of Broughton, and married Jane, daughter of Robert Kynnesman of Loddington. Richard, his son and heir, married Isabella, daughter of Drugo Brudenel, Esq.
