About Roger North
Roger North was buried at St. Michael le Quern, London. The church and monuments unfortunately did not survive the Great Fire of London in 1666, but his monument was listed in the "Catalogue of the tombs in the churches of the city of London, A.D. 1666", a work compiled just after the Fire to preserve records that would otherwise have been lost, and also in Strype's "Survey of London" (online at http://www.hrionline.ac.uk/strype/TransformServlet?page=book3_192&d... )
(The Visitations, annoyingly, attribute the monument to his father.)
He did have a first wife, and the first wife apparently had one or more daughters but no sons.
