Neil "Geal" MacNeil, one of the "Piper's" of Piper's Cove, came from Scotland. He married Catherine (Angus "Og") MacLean in Scotland. They settled in Washabuck and their family: Ann, Catherine, Christy, Lucy, Jane, Rory and John. 265

Rory (Neil "Geal"), a carpenter, married Mary (Hector, John "Og") MacKinnon. They lived in Lower Washabuck and their family: Hector, John, Michael, Neil, Ann, Mary, and Kate. 266

Rory, commonly known as “Ruairidh Neill” was a carpenter. He married Mary, daughter of Hector McKinnon (Mac Iain Oig).

Issue: Hector, John, Michael, Neil, Ann, Mary and Katie. All the sons were carpenters; and they constituted the great Boston firm of contractors and builders known as McNeil Bros. All of them are dead now.

Hector married Margaret, daughter of Hector McNeil (Piper). Issue: — Mary, Ann, and Neil.

Mary married Rory McNeil (Neil), of Washabuck.
